Ongoing International Traveling Exhibition: Yakishime – Earth Metamorphosis
My ceramic sculpture is featured in the international traveling exhibition Yakishime – Earth Metamorphosis, organized worldwide by The Japan Foundation.
Focusing on the ancient Japanese ceramic technique of yakishime (un-glazed, high-fired stoneware), this comprehensive exhibition traces the medium’s evolution from functional tea utensils and vessels to innovative, non-functional contemporary sculptural objects.
Since embarking on its global tour in 2016, the exhibition has traveled across numerous museums and cultural institutions throughout the world. I am deeply honored that my work continues to journey across borders, sharing the tactile essence and expressive potential of Japanese contemporary ceramics with international audiences.

【国際巡回展のお知らせ】「Yakishime – Earth Metamorphosis（焼き締め―土の変容）」
独立行政法人 国際交流基金（The Japan Foundation）が主催する海外巡回展「Yakishime – Earth Metamorphosis（焼き締め―土の変容）」に、作品を出品しております。
本展は、日本古来の陶芸技法である「焼き締め」の歴史と美意識を紐解きつつ、伝統的な茶陶・花器から、現代作家による自由なオブジェ・立体造形への展開を世界各地へ紹介する展覧会です。2016年の開始以来、アジア、欧州、南北アメリカ、中東など世界各国の美術館や文化施設を巡回し続けています。
日本が誇る陶の物質性と現代の造形表現の可能性を、世界各地の皆様にご覧いただける機会をいただき、心より光栄に思っております。
